§ Arizona businesses may make tax deductible donations.
§ Arizona residents may make tax credit donations.

What is a tax credit donation?
Arizona allows a dollar for dollar credit for donations made to scholarship
organizations (like TEMPO) supporting public or private schools (like Tempe
Montessori School). Donations of up to $500 for individuals and up to $1,000 for
married couples filing jointly are credited directly off of State owed taxes.

Where do I donate?
Hand deliver donations to the office at the school in an envelope marked to TEMPO.
Mail donations to
TEMPO at P.O. Box # 41191, Mesa AZ 85274-1191.

When do I donate?
Any time before December 31st in order to receive the credit for this tax year.
Donations must be
postmarked or received prior to the end of the calendar
year.

Why should I donate?
Tax Credit donations are used exclusively to fund scholarships to students at the
elementary school. The more people who donate, the more scholarships are
available.

How do I donate?
§ Checks, Cashier's Checks or Money Orders made payable to TEMPO
§ Credit Cards: Visa, Master Card, and Discover only

How are scholarships awarded?
§ Financial need
§ Volunteer involvement in school and TEMPO activities, including fund raising
efforts

* Families
may not donate on behalf of their own child; donations may be made to
the general scholarship fund, or with a recommendation of a child in need of a
scholarship.

** Children must be
5 years old by August 31st, 2010 (the following school year) to
qualify for a scholarship. Some preschoolers with disabilities may also qualify.

With the help of families and friends of Tempe Montessori School,
TEMPO aspires to
provide full or partial scholarships to all elementary aged children, making the school
accessible to anyone interested in and dedicated to a unique Montessori education.
